The Company
Suno was founded in 2022 by Mikey Shulman and colleagues, and its app lets anyone create full songs with vocals from a short text description. It has become the best-known AI music product, and has faced copyright lawsuits from major record labels.
In June 2026 Suno raised $400 million at a $5.4 billion valuation, more than double its $2.45 billion valuation from November 2025.
