Cyera
Cyera provides a data security platform that discovers sensitive data, controls who and what can access it, and governs how AI systems use it.
The Company
Cyera was founded in 2021 by Yotam Segev and Tamar Bar-Ilan, veterans of Israeli military cyber units. Its platform maps where sensitive data lives across cloud and on-premises systems and controls access to it, and it now positions that as the trust layer for enterprise AI.
In June 2026 Cyera raised $600 million at a $12 billion valuation, led by Evolution Equity Partners with Temasek and existing backers including Accel, Blackstone and Coatue. The company says annual recurring revenue has tripled three years in a row, and it has made five acquisitions.
Why It Matters
Cyera shows how AI adoption is creating new security spending around data access, and it is one of the fastest-rising private cybersecurity companies.
