ClickHouse
ClickHouse develops an open-source, column-oriented database built for real-time analytics, and sells a managed cloud version.
The Company
The ClickHouse database was first developed at Yandex and became an independent company in 2021. It is used for real-time analytics, observability and increasingly for AI workloads, and the company sells a managed cloud service alongside the open-source project.
In January 2026 ClickHouse raised a $400 million Series D led by Dragoneer at a $15 billion valuation, up from about $6.35 billion in its May 2025 Series C. By May 2026 it reported annualized revenue of $250 million, roughly triple the prior year, and more than 4,000 customers.
Why It Matters
ClickHouse shows how AI and observability workloads are driving demand for new data infrastructure, and it is an IPO candidate that would be compared directly with Snowflake and Databricks.
