Apptronik designs and manufactures Apollo, a humanoid robot built for factory and warehouse work.
The Company
Apptronik grew out of the Human Centered Robotics Lab at the University of Texas at Austin. Its Apollo humanoid can work on legs or wheels and is being piloted in manufacturing and logistics, with partners including Mercedes-Benz, GXO Logistics and Google DeepMind.
In February 2026 Apptronik raised $520 million at a $5.5 billion valuation, led by Google, Mercedes-Benz and B Capital, with AT&T Ventures, John Deere and Qatar Investment Authority joining. That followed a $415 million raise in February 2025.
